Take this example, you have 1 service that is linked with 1 room and 1 resource/equipment
but 2 staff members can perform (are assigned) that service at the same time

If nothing is booked, here is what the availability will look like:
However, once one of the staff members is booked with the service in question
there will be no option for another staff member to be booked at the same time since the room and the equipment are 'in use' (this is how it looks like after the service with a duration of 1h was booked with one of the staff members):
Also, if you try booking manually on your calendar once there is a booked appointment, you will not be able to do that, since the equipment is already in use during that certain period:
By setting the services with rooms and equipment, you will prevent double bookings from your Online Booking portal as well as from your Calendar, and during the period of using the equipment, no other service with the same equipment will be bookable.
NOTE: No matter if "Allow overlapping appointments" is enabled or not, the outcome will be the same (the room and equipment will block the booking with the same equipment in the same room).
Important: In order for this to work, you will need to add the same rooms and equipment in the services and have only 1 of each of them (1 room and 1 equipment).
