This article explains how clients can purchase a gift voucher from the online booking portal.
To enable gift voucher purchases, you will initially need to have gift vouchers created in Pabau and enable them for online booking. For more details on how to create gift vouchers and sell them online, refer to this article. You will also need to ensure the feature is not hidden when customizing the online booking portal.Step 1: Navigate to your Online Booking Portal
Access your online booking portal to get started with the process. You can either access it by clicking on the Book Now button from your website, or you will be able to locate the portal link in your Pabau account in the Online Booking tab.
Step 2: Purchase a Gift Voucher
When you access the online booking portal, you'll see the header message you've set, a list of categories, any created packages/courses, gift vouchers, and the option for clients to add money to their accounts. More details regarding your online booking portal customization are included in this article. You'll find the gift vouchers listed at the bottom of the page.
Clicking on the Gift Vouchers icon will take you to the vouchers page, displaying all the vouchers you've created in Pabau and made available for online purchase. To ensure that your gift vouchers are visible on the online booking portal, simply activate the "Sell this voucher online" toggle in the top right corner when creating a gift voucher in Pabau.
When you select a voucher in the online booking portal, a blue check mark will appear on the far right side, indicating your selection. Click "Next" on the bottom right to proceed.
Step 3: Process Payment
When a client already has an account, they will be directed to the payment page. To enter their card details, they need to tick the "Pay with card" method and the fields to enter their card details will show. If they have a card saved already, it shows at the top of the page as a first option. They can also add a tip if you have enabled this option on the policies page.
NOTE: Pabau requires integration with Stripe for payment processing.
Step 4: Locate Voucher
After the payment has been processed, you will be able to locate the gift voucher that the client purchased, in their client card under the "Gift Vouchers" tab.
Any service paid for with a voucher will be displayed in the Invoices section under the Money tab on the left sidebar menu.
Another way to promote vouchers is by adding a widget on your website that will redirect them to the vouchers page.
