Homepage and Navigating the System
The homepage and system navigation have been redesigned for a more efficient user experience.
The Buzzfeed has been replaced by a streamlined Notifications feature, where you can access real-time updates through a notifications bell. This includes important Alerts, such as when appointments are booked or canceled, and News, like product or system updates.
Additionally, the Online Bookings setup page now features a Booking Activity section, while the Client Portal setup page includes a Client Activity section for quick access to important information, such as newly registered clients.

Navigating the Setup section has become more intuitive and user-friendly.
The introduction of a search bar streamlines the process of finding specific settings within the six categories of settings - Business, Services, Clinical, Marketing & Communication, Financials, and Developer & Other.
The enhanced ease of navigation ensures a smoother experience for users looking to configure and customize their Pabau environment.
Staff and Scheduler
With the new Visibility feature, you can control which client information is accessible to different team members, ensuring privacy and security. Teams also make it easier to group employees by role, simplifying the setup of their homepage, notifications, calendar, and assigned services all in one place.
The Bio section in user profiles enhances your online bookings by showcasing more about your staff members.
Simplified service and system access permissions, along with the introduction of Roles, make staff management more efficient and customizable.
Significant improvements have been made to the Schedule Manager, now called the Scheduler. The updated Scheduler provides a more streamlined and responsive scheduling experience, improving efficiency.
Calendar
The Calendar in Pabau 2 retains its familiar day, week, month, and room views, making it easier to manage appointments.
Now, filtering is more intuitive, allowing you to filter by appointment status, services, employees working today, or by teams.
You can also use the "Show canceled" option to keep track of any changes.
The calendar is customizable, allowing you to display staff initials, hide clients' last names, or remove appointment times for privacy. There's also a privacy switch to hide all appointment details, along with a calendar lock screen for added security. These features give you more control over your scheduling and privacy.
Services
The Services feature in Pabau 2 has been updated to make managing services easier and more flexible than ever. The layout is now more user-friendly, making it simpler to navigate through services, categories, and service groups (previously master categories).
Pricing has also been improved with more options, such as setting different prices for employees and locations, as well as the ability to set specific deposit amounts for different services.
You can now add "extra time" after appointments to prepare for the next one, and include service notices in online bookings.
If a service requires a patch test, you'll get a notification when booking. You can also restrict certain services to new or returning clients, or only for those who have already had specific services.
Plus, an AI tool helps you create service descriptions for your online booking portal, and service bundling lets you group two or more services together for easier booking.
Packages
In Pabau 2, we've made selling packages online easier, helping you boost revenue and keep customers happy.
We’ve also added a package widget that can be embedded on your website to showcase your packages, allowing clients to easily browse and purchase directly. Plus, our new package upsell feature alerts you when a client is booking a service that's included in a package, encouraging them to book the full package and increase sales.
These features are a simple but effective way to attract new customers, keep your calendar full, and make the most of your services.
Medical Form Templates
Moving from Pabau Classic to Pabau 2 introduces a much easier and more streamlined way to manage medical form templates.
The updated interface offers new elements such as sliders, dropdowns, and code lookup fields, as well as medical condition and allergy components. One of the improvements is the ability for practitioners to quickly sign forms using the signatures saved in their user profiles, saving time and eliminating the need for manual signing.
Client Card
The Client Card in Pabau 2 keeps all the key features you’re familiar with from Pabau Classic but comes with a fresh redesign.
One of the major updates is the customizable Summary View, which lets you choose what key client details to display, based on what matters most to you.
We've also added a Dictation feature, making it easier to turn voice notes into written letters that can be shared quickly.
In addition, we’ve improved the Electronic Medical Records by adding sections for Allergies, Patch Tests, and Client Problems. Plus, the inclusion of the SNOMED and ICD databases for Client Problems helps provide a more complete and accurate medical history and diagnosis.
Online Bookings
Pabau 2 has transformed the Online Booking system with a complete redesign of the Pabau Connect portal. The new look is sleek and modern, offering a more intuitive experience for both you and your clients. This updated portal lets you sell gift vouchers and packages, and clients can easily add funds to their accounts.
You can also take advantage of the new package upsell feature, which promotes packages to clients while they’re booking services, giving you more opportunities to increase revenue.
Customization is easier than ever—now, you can align the portal with your brand by adjusting colors, adding images for services and categories, and displaying your team’s bios, ratings, and reviews for each service.
Additionally, Pabau 2 offers integrations with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel, helping you track your performance and make data-driven decisions.
The Client Portal allows your clients to manage all their interactions with your business in one place. They can book appointments, fill out medical forms, view and pay invoices, track loyalty points, and manage their packages and financial details.
Stripe Integration and Pabau Pay Card Terminals
In Pabau 2, the Stripe integration now powers the Pabau Pay ecosystem, including card terminals that are fully integrated with Pabau. These terminals eliminate the need for manual syncing, as all payments are instantly updated in client records.
Beyond card terminals, Pabau Pay offers multiple payment options like online deposits, payment links, and QR codes. It also features a Wallet for tracking payments and managing payouts in one place.
All transactions are securely processed through Stripe, providing a seamless and secure payment experience that clients can trust.

You can choose from flat rates, percentages, or custom amounts and even set specific deposits for individual services. Whether you prefer standardized rates or need a tailored approach for certain treatments, Pabau 2 gives you full control.
These enhancements make managing deposits easier and more adaptable, ensuring your payment policies align perfectly with your business needs.
Dictation
In Pabau 2, Dictation is a major upgrade from the old voice notes in Pabau Classic. It uses AI to quickly turn what you say into shareable letters, saving you time and effort.
This is just one of the many ways our Echo AI tools make things easier and more efficient for you.
Client Notifications
In Pabau Classic, setting up client notifications was complicated, often requiring individual templates and even some coding. Pabau 2 makes things much simpler.
Templates (formerly called the Template Archive) in Pabau 2 are where you store your frequently used emails, SMS texts, and letters. Client Notifications now have their own dedicated templates, which you can easily customize with branding and functionality using simple checkboxes.
For instance, the email confirmation template in Pabau 2 lets you quickly enable or disable options like confirming, rescheduling, canceling appointments, or completing forms—just by ticking a box. You can also personalize the look with easy settings for background colors, opacity, text, and more.
You can also create your own custom client notifications using an intuitive text builder and even attach files directly to the messages.
With these updates, managing client notifications in Pabau 2 is easier, faster, and more flexible than ever.
Marketing Features
Key updates include enhanced Email and SMS newsletters, now part of the Broadcasts feature, along with feedback surveys, gift vouchers, loyalty programs, and the powerful new Automations feature. Automations make it easier to stay connected with clients by managing recalls, sending welcome emails, and more.
Newsletter design is now simpler and more modern, with easy-to-use components and tools for creating targeted audiences.
The reviews form has been updated for a cleaner look, and you can now connect to Google Reviews, manage all reviews in one place, and respond to them using AI. We've also introduced a new and improved reviews widget that you can easily embed on your website.
Gift voucher creation has been streamlined too. You can design custom themes, add a "Book Now" button, and include dedicated Terms & Conditions. Clients can also purchase gift vouchers for others online and add personal messages—an excellent way to boost sales and attract new clients.
Stock and Products
Moving from Pabau Classic to Pabau 2 makes managing your inventory and purchase orders much easier.
We’ve improved how products are organized, so it’s simpler to track your stock. Adding new products, categories, and suppliers is now a breeze with just a few clicks. You can also see your stock levels at a glance using the Inventory Count feature.
Creating and updating purchase orders is now clearer, and it's easier to mark orders as received, helping you stay on top of your inventory.
Tasks
The Pabau Tasks feature has been updated and is now called Activities.
With this update, you can now categorize your activities into types like meetings, emails, calls, or messages, making it easier to organize and plan your day.
We’ve also added more scheduling options, giving you greater flexibility to set up and manage your activities.
Additionally, tasks are now shown as To-dos, Completed, or Overdue, giving you a clear view of what needs to be done and what's already finished.
Reports
Pabau 2 brings a big improvement to how we handle reports. Instead of using fixed filters like before, we now have an interactive Analytics feature that makes it easier and more flexible to view and analyze your data.
With this new feature, you can create reports that allow you to adjust filters in real time, giving you the freedom to explore your data and change your analysis as you go.
What’s even better is that Pabau 2 now lets you visualize your data with pie charts and graphs. This means you’re not just looking at raw numbers; you can see your information in a way that’s easier to understand and more visually engaging.
Leads
Pabau 2 introduces a major upgrade to the Leads feature with the addition of Lead Pipelines, making it easier to organize and manage leads based on different stages.
With this change, you can customize your pipelines to suit the needs of your business and track leads through each stage of the process.
The new Kanban view provides a clear, visual representation of your leads, allowing you to easily see where each lead is and move them along through the stages, making it simpler to manage and follow up with potential clients.
Letters
The Letters feature in Pabau 2 has been completely revamped to make creating and customizing letters much easier.
In Pabau 1, you had to create Word documents with special tags and use them as templates. Now, making letter templates is as simple as creating email templates.
To make things even easier, standard letter headers and footers are now included, streamlining the whole process of creating letters in Pabau 2.
Additonally, with the help of AI, Pabau 2 can automatically generate letters by pulling details from a client’s card or voice notes.
Quotes
Creating a quote is now straightforward, so you don’t need to create templates in Word anymore.
Clients can now pay directly and digitally sign quotes right within the system, making the whole process smoother and more convenient for everyone.
