Most of the changes to your Pabau account are done through the Setup section - this remains true throughout Pabau Classic and Pabau 2.
What's different about Pabau 2 is how simple it is to navigate. We've done a lot of work to make the Setup section more intuitive so that you can get to where you need to much quicker.
In Pabau Classic, you need to click between multiple tabs. With Pabau 2, all the main setup features have been added to one screen so you can see everything you need at a glance. This also reduces the number of clicks required.
We've also improved the placement - the Setup button is now positioned alongside the other main features in the left sidebar, so it's easy to find when you need it.
Pabau Useful Resources
At the very top of the Setup section are buttons that navigate you to various resources, such as our blog, our community forum, the Pabau Academy, and the Pabau Knowledge Base.
The Pabau Blog is a great source of information about practice management tips, marketing tips, and business tips, with constant new additions.
The Community Forum allows you to share your feedback and ideas about Pabau 2's features, and read the latest release notes.
The Pabau Academy features bite-sized lessons first to help you get acquainted with Pabau 2 and then get the most out of it.
The Knowledge Base provides articles with step-by-step instructions, on various features within Pabau, offering you clear and practical insights into optimizing their usage of the platform.
Setup Screen
The Setup is split into six different categories: Business, Services, Clinical, Marketing & Communication, Financials and Developer & Other.
The categories themselves are easy to understand:
Business - your business details, location settings, and information about your Pabau account can be found in this section.
Services - the majority of service-related settings can be found here. Packages, rooms and equipment, and your online booking setup and client portal.
Clinical - here, you can create and manage your medical forms, care pathways, precares and aftercares - now grouped under Education, labs, and drugs.
Marketing & Communication - your go-to place for templates, notifications, and setup related to your sender addresses and feedback survey. Compared to Pabau Classic, think of Communications, Marketing Sources, Template Archive, Client Notifications, Social Survey Setup, and the option to purchase SMS credits and configure auto top-up settings, previously accessed by clicking on your SMS credit count.
Financials - everything related to managing payments and financials. Compared to Pabau Classic, think of Payment Types, Taxes, Invoice Templates, and Cancellation Policy.
Developer & Other - setup related to integrations and various customization options. Third parties and associated settings can also be found here. In the context of Pabau Classic, these functionalities are distributed across Block Out Options, Job Titles, Contract Pricing, 3rd Parties, Appointment Statuses, Salutations, API keys, Integrations, and Webhooks.
Search Bar
Don't forget about the search bar - it can make navigation even easier! It can be found in the top right corner of the Setup section, right above the Pabau resources. Just type in whatever you're trying to find, and the system will bring up any relevant suggestions.
