How to Create a Patch Test in the Client Card
Step 1: Navigate to the Client Card
Start by logging in to your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the Search bar at the top of the page and type at least three letters of the client's name. Pabau will filter the results as you type.
Step 2: Switch to the Patch Tests Tab
To access the Patch Tests tab, expand the Chart/EMR, and the tab will be revealed.
Step 3: Create a Patch Test
To initiate the process, click the "Create Patch Test" button at the top right corner of the page.
Complete all the required fields, including the description of the patch test, the staff member who performed it, and the outcome. Once all fields are populated, click on Create Patch Test.
All patch tests will be displayed on the "Patch Tests" tab.
By following these steps you can create a patch test in a client card.
How to Edit a Patch Test in the Client Card
Step 1: Navigate to the Client Card
Start by logging in to your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the Search bar at the top of the page and type at least three letters of the client's name. Pabau will filter the results as you type.
Step 2: Switch to the Patch Tests Tab
To access the Patch Tests tab, expand the Chart/EMR, and the tab will be revealed.
Step 3: Edit a Patch Test
Clicking on the three dots in the far right corner of the patch test will reveal the Edit option.
The process of editing a patch test is the same as creating a patch test. After making the necessary changes, click "Save Patch Test" to complete the process.
By following these steps, you can edit an already created patch test in the client card.
How to Delete a Patch Test in the Client Card
Step 1: Navigate to the Client Card
Start by logging in to your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the Search bar at the top of the page and type at least three letters of the client's name. Pabau will filter the results as you type.
Step 2: Switch to the Patch Tests Tab
To access the Patch Tests tab, expand the Chart/EMR, and the tab will be revealed.
Step 3: Delete a Patch Test
When you click on the three dots in the far right corner of the patch test, the Delete option will appear.
The patch test will be deleted instantly upon clicking the delete button.
By following these steps you can delete any patch tests created in the client card.
How to Set a Mandatory Patch Test for a Service
You can set a mandatory patch test for your services as you create them or by editing existing services. Read our articles on how to create a service and how to edit a service to learn more.
Step 1: Navigate to Services
Start by logging in to your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to Setup at the bottom of the sidebar menu on your left-hand side. Under the Services section, you will find the Services tab.
Step 2: Select a Service
To set this requirement for a service you will need to edit the Advanced settings of the service. To access Advanced Settings, you need to scroll down to the bottom of the General tab.
Step 3: Set Service to Require a Patch Test
After clicking on Advanced settings, scroll down to the bottom of the page where you can find the action to set the service to require a patch test.
Once you toggle on "Set if this service requires a patch test at all," ensure that you save the changes at the top right corner of the page.
If you try to book an appointment with a service that has this requirement but the client doesn't have a patch test associated with their card, a booking warning will appear.
By following these steps, you can set a service to have a mandatory patch test.
