How to View the Prescription Report

This article explains the prescription report in Pabau.

The Prescription Report in Pabau helps you keep track of every individual medication prescribed, across all prescriptions in your clinic. This is especially useful for auditing, reviewing medication history, and ensuring every detail is accurate before sending prescriptions to pharmacies.

Step 1: Navigate to the Prescription Page

Start by logging into your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to your avatar located at the top right corner of the screen and click to open the available options.

The Prescription tab will be displayed. Click to access the report.

Step 2: View Prescription Report

This report is drug-based, not prescription-based. That means each row represents a single medication, even if multiple drugs were prescribed under the same prescription.

For example:

  • If a client has one prescription with 3 medications and another with 2 medications, you’ll see 5 rows in total.

  • The Prescription number will group medications under the same prescription, even if they appear on separate rows.

Step 3: Review Columns

Here’s what each column shows:

Column Description
Name The name of the medication.
Description Any notes or instructions added to the medication.
Date The date the prescription was created.
Client The name of the client receiving the prescription.
Prescription number A reference number for the prescription.
Medication Name The name of the prescribed drug.
Dosage The prescribed dosage.
Quantity How many units were prescribed.
Status Validity check.

Step 4: Validity Check

Each row will include a status icon that tells you whether that drug is ready to send to a pharmacy.

The icon will appear green if the following checks are passed:

  • Patient details are complete

  • Dosage is provided

  • Quantity is set

  • Required prescription fields are filled out

  • Prescriber is authorized

If any of these are missing, the icon will appear grey or red depending on what's incomplete.

Step 5: View Full Prescription Details

To view the full prescription details, click the "View" button on the row you’re interested in. This will open the print version of the prescription, showing the full breakdown of what's been prescribed.
