How to Use the Form Wizard in Pabau

Form Wizard creates a beautiful, step-by-step experience with an intuitive layout, keeping them engaged and significantly increasing form completion rates.

Step 1: Navigate to Forms

Start by logging into your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the Setup page by clicking the Setup button located on the bottom corner of the left side bar menu. Under the Clinical section, you'll find the Forms tab.

Step 2: Create Form

To create a form navigate to the top right corner of the screen and click the blue "Create Form" button. 

Step 3: Add Heading Component

To include the wizard step, drag and drop the Heading component. 

Once you've added the heading component to the form, hover over it, and it will show three icons. Proceed to click the pen icon to edit it.

Step 4: Configure Component Settings

This action will reveal the component settings, where you can:

• Enter a heading – Name the step so it's clear to the user.

• Enable "Wizard Step" toggle – Turn this step into part of a guided, step-by-step process.

• Save the component – Apply and save the changes you made to the component settings.

Step 5: Preview the Form

Once you’ve added all the necessary components, click the “Preview” tab at the top of the screen to see how the form will appear to clients.

Wizard steps will be divided based on where you've placed them in the form, and it will automatically separate the questions into sections.

The heading name you've added will appear below the step. 

Once a user completes one step, they can move on to the next.

Step 5: Save Changes

If you're happy with the preview of your form, click the arrow in the top-left corner to return to the edit/create form modal.

Then, head to the top-right corner and click the “Save Form” button to apply your changes.

Your clients will now be able to navigate through longer forms more easily, step by step, without feeling overwhelmed.
