How to Use Column Ordering in the Calendar

In this article, you'll learn how to use the Column Ordering feature in Pabau's calendar to customize how your calendar columns are displayed—whether by employees, rooms, or other available views.

Step 1: Navigate to the Calendar

First, log in to your Pabau account, and in the left sidebar menu, click on Calendar.

Step 2: Access Calendar Settings

To reach the Calendar settings, click on the cogwheel icon located in the top right corner, then from the dropdown choose ''Column Ordering''.

Step 3: Choose a Column Type and Reorder

At the top of the Column Ordering page, you'll see a dropdown labeled ''View''. By default, this is set to ''Employee View''. Click on the dropdown to switch to other available views, such as ''Room View'', depending on how you want to structure your calendar layout.

If your business operates across multiple locations, use the ''Location'' selector at the top to ensure you’re adjusting the correct site.

Below that, you’ll see a list of columns (employees, rooms, etc., depending on the selected view) that you can reorder by dragging and dropping. Once you've arranged them to your preference, click ''Save'' in the top-right corner to apply the changes.

By using the Column Ordering feature, you can fully customize how your calendar displays resources, making it easier to manage availability, streamline booking, and stay organized.
