In this article, you will be able to see how you can enable and use Promo Codes in your Pabau
To enable the Promo Codes in your Pabau you will need to go to Setup:
Then Settings > Online Bookings:
General Settings > Advanced:
Set the option Allow promo codes to Yes:
The last step that needs to be done is to go to the bottom of the page and click on the Update General Settings button.
After this is done, when the clients would go to your Online Bookings, select service, date, and time, before they book the appointment, they will have a chance to add a Promo Code:
Upon clicking on the Add promo code button they will be able to add the promo code by clicking on the Save Promo Code:
The last step will be to complete the booking by clicking on the Complete Booking button (if there is a Required Deposit or No Show Protection enabled the text of the field may be different like Finalise your booking or Proceed with Payment).
When the booking is finalized and the code is added, the code can be found in the client's card under Appointment Notes:
As well as upon clicking on the appointment in the calendar:
Now, when raising an invoice for the booked appointment, you will need to check if there is a promo code on the client's card and then manually add the discount on the invoice, before raising it.
NOTE: When the Promo Code is added via Online Bookings, the service price will remain the same and the discount will not be added. The discount will need to be added from some staff members upon raising the invoice.
Example of how you can use the Promo Codes:
You have a service that cost £ 100 and the deposit for this service is £ 20. Also, you have sent a campaign to your clients that they can use a Promo Code named: Christmas Discount 50% or for a certain period of time, you have shared this on your website.
The client will go to your Online Bookings, select the service in question, select the date and time, then they will need to add the Promo Code Christmas Discount 50%, save the code, and proceed with paying the deposit of £ 20. Once the deposit is paid, the appointment can be booked.
Then, the client will show up in your clinic for the appointment, and once you open the client card, you will be able to see that the client paid a £ 20 deposit, and added the Christmas Discount 50% Promo code.
Once the appointment is done, when you raise the Invoice you will know that you will need to apply 50% on this client's invoice, and instead of charging the client £ 80, you will charge the client £ 30 more, so the total invoice amount will be £ 50 (since there is a 50% discount on it).
You can add the discount by changing the price of the one service/ product:
Or you can add a discount on the total Invoice amount, by clicking on the Discount icon and using some of your predefined created Discounts:
The last step is to Finalise the Invoice, and like this, the client will have discounted Invoice with a used Promo Code.
