No Show Protection Feature

Our 'No Show Protection' feature allows you to create a cancellation policy that protects you and your team from lost business and revenue.

Step 1: Go to Setup> Settings> Cancellation Policy

Under the feature, Cancellation Policy is where you can modify or customize your policies.

Step 2: Press on the + New Policy Button and proceed to enter your policy details

Step 3: Creating the Cancellation policy

  • Make sure that the status of the policy is active.

  • Select the type of your policy and the action.

  • Under the action, we need to choose the Auto Bill ( via Stripe) option.

  • Next, we need to choose payment protection. Make sure to select the option that works best for your business.

  • You can also choose the Notice Hours, from when the policy will take place

  • The next option is to add a message which is suitable for your clinic's policy.

  • At the end make sure to click on Create policy and the option will be saved in the system.

Step 3: Activating the No-Show Protection

To activate the No Show Protection, we will have to book an appointment on the Calendar. After we click on the available timeslot and choose the client, the Activate No Show Protection button will appear. The button will be located at the top of the appointment.

When we press Activate No Show Protection, we will be able to enter this client's card details and click on Save Changes

Next, we need to proceed with adding the necessary information for the booking and click on Save.  Now the client is booked in the diary and if they try to cancel the appointment they will be charged a cancellation fee.

Step 4: Charging the Cancellation Fee

In order to charge the client for their late cancellation, we need to click on the booked appointment. Afterward, press the Cancel button.

Choose the cancellation reason and Proceed with the cancellation.

When we open the client card of that specific client and we will access the Financials tab, you will notice that the invoice is being raised and it includes the cancellation fee where the payment method is also Stripe.
