If you're switching to Pabau from Aesthetic Record, here's everything you need to know about transferring your data into your Pabau account!
The first step is booking a 15-minute meeting with our implementation specialists. During this call, the details of the data migration will be discussed.
Once you've done that, please read through the guide below. It's important to review each section thoroughly, as it outlines your role in the transfer, and what we do for you.
Organizing the Export of Your Account Data with Aesthetic Record
To perform the transfer, we will need an export of your account data. You can obtain the export by doing one of the following:
- Contact Aesthetic Record support to export your data. Please note that account exports may be a billable service.
- Export the data by yourself. To export client files, refer to this article. To export clients, refer to this article.
- 🌟Recommended: Provide us with your Aesthetic Record login credentials so we can export the data for you.
Please note that any EMR attachments must be obtained either through Aesthetic Record's support team or manually downloaded, as Aesthetic Record does not support bulk export.
Any data entered into Aesthetic Record after the export won't be transferred to Pabau and will need to be manually entered after the transfer is completed.

Going Live with Your Pabau Account
The data import process typically takes about 7-10 business days, depending on the volume of data.
After the data migration is complete, you will have a data validation call with your implementation specialist to review the imported data and confirm its accuracy.
Following this, you will receive a sign-off survey. Once you submit the survey, your implementation specialist will activate your account, and you will receive your login credentials via email.
At this stage, we highly recommend enrolling in the "Get Started" course at the Pabau Academy. This course offers short, bite-sized lessons on the basic setup of your Pabau account. It is split into two parts, each focusing on essential information. As you follow along, you will set up your own Pabau account, learning by doing.
If you have purchased a success package, you will receive an email with a link to book a meeting with our Customer Success representatives, who will assist you in setting up your account.
