How to Use the Fullscript Integration in the Client Card (New Client Card)
In this article, we will show you how to use the Fullscript integration in the client card to recommend supplements and have plans saved automatically to the client's treatment notes.
This feature is part of the new client card version and is currently available to select users only, starting August 2026. A wider rollout to all accounts is coming soon.
Fullscript is an online dispensary that lets practitioners recommend professional-grade supplements to their clients. With the Fullscript integration in the new client card, you can open your Fullscript dispensary without leaving Pabau, build a supplement plan for the client you’re viewing, and have the finished plan written back to their treatment notes automatically — keeping the clinical record complete without any copying and pasting.
This guide walks you through connecting your Fullscript account, choosing where plans are saved, and prescribing from the client card.
Fullscript serves practitioners in the United States and Canada, so this integration is primarily intended for clinics based in those regions. You’ll need your own Fullscript practitioner account to connect.
1. Connect your Fullscript account
- Go to Setup > App marketplace and open Fullscript.
- In the Connection section, click Connect Fullscript.
- A Fullscript sign-in window will pop up. Sign in with your Fullscript credentials and approve the connection.
- Once you’ve signed in, the window closes on its own and the status badge changes to Connected.
The connection is personal to you — each practitioner links their own Fullscript account. You can unlink at any time by returning to this page and clicking Disconnect.
If nothing happens when you click Connect Fullscript, your browser may be blocking pop-ups. Allow pop-ups for Pabau and try again.
2. Choose where treatment plans are saved
Pabau records each Fullscript plan as a treatment note. This is a clinic-wide setting, so it only needs configuring once.
- On the same Fullscript settings page, find the Treatment note destination section.
- Under Treatment note template, choose the treatment note template plans should be recorded in.
- Under Field for the plan, choose which text field within that template the plan is written into. Only templates with at least one text field can be used.
- Click Save in the top-right corner.
If you skip this step, plans are still created and sent through Fullscript as normal, but nothing is written back to the client’s record in Pabau.
3. Open the Fullscript dispensary from the client card
- Open the client’s card — for example, Emma Thompson’s.
- In the panel on the left, click the Apps icon in the row of icons above the client’s photo — hover over it and you’ll see Apps & integrations; it sits next to the bell icon.
- Fullscript appears pinned to the top of the apps list with a green leaf icon. Click it.
- The Fullscript dispensary opens in a near-fullscreen window on top of the client card.
Fullscript only appears in the apps list once your account is connected. If you don’t see it, complete step 1 first.
If the window asks you to connect — for example, because your connection has expired — click Connect Fullscript, sign in through the pop-up, and the dispensary will load as soon as you’re done.
4. Recommend supplements and send the plan
Pabau shares the client’s name, email address and date of birth with Fullscript, so the right patient is matched — or created — in your dispensary automatically.
- Browse or search the catalogue inside the dispensary and add the products you’d like to recommend.
- Add dosage instructions and a personal message, just as you would in Fullscript itself.
- Send the plan to the client as you normally would in Fullscript.
- As soon as the plan is activated, Pabau saves it to the client’s record and shows the confirmation Fullscript plan saved to the treatment note.
When you’ve finished, close the dispensary using the X in the top-right corner, or press Escape.
5. Review the plan in the client’s treatment notes
- On the client card, open the Chart section (labelled EMR for businesses outside the United States).
- Select Treatment notes.
- The plan appears as a completed treatment note using the template you chose in step 2, containing your message to the client together with the supplement recommendations from the plan.
That’s it — you can now recommend supplements from Fullscript without ever leaving the client card, with every plan recorded automatically in the client’s clinical notes. If plans aren’t saving back to Pabau, double-check the treatment note destination in Setup > App marketplace > Fullscript.
