If you've recently made updates in the web version of Pabau, such as changing client details, service settings or forms, and Pabau GO still shows the old data, this guide explains how the app now keeps itself up to date. Pabau GO no longer has a manual Sync Data option: it loads your data from Pabau as you use it.
Step 1: Launch the Pabau GO app and log in
Open the Pabau GO app and sign into your Pabau account.
Step 2: Access the Menu
Once logged in, tap on "Menu" at the bottom right of your screen. In the menu, tap your name at the top to access the Account settings.
Step 3: Check your app version
Pabau GO no longer has a Sync Data option, so there is nothing to sync manually. At the bottom of the Account screen you'll see Pabau app version followed by the version number. If the App Store offers an update for Pabau GO, install it so you have the latest fixes.
How does Pabau GO stay up to date now?
Pabau GO reads your data from Pabau as you open each screen, so changes made in the web version come through without a manual sync:
- Lists such as Clients: pull down on the list to refresh it. The app keeps some lists (clients, services and rooms) for up to 5 minutes, so a refresh, or waiting a few minutes, brings in the latest changes.
- Forms: the list of forms you can choose from is loaded fresh each time you open a client's record or an appointment. If you've just added or changed a form in the web version, close the client's record or appointment and open it again.
- Logging out: logging out and back in clears everything the app has kept from your session.
Why does a form show on desktop but not in Pabau GO?
- The record was already open. Close the client's record or appointment and open it again so the form list reloads.
- The app is out of date. Older versions of Pabau GO could hide forms that desktop shows. Update Pabau GO from the App Store.
- The form type isn't one the app lists. Pabau GO lists Medical History, Consent, Treatment Form, ePaper, Prescription and Lab Form forms (ePaper forms appear alongside treatment forms). A form of any other type won't appear in the app.
- The form has been deleted. Deleted forms aren't shown in the app.
Where this comes from: the forms in Pabau GO are the ones set up in Setup → Medical Forms in the web version, where you can also check each form's type.
NOTE: If a form still doesn't appear after these checks, contact support with the form's name and the app version shown on your Account screen.
Your Pabau GO app will now be fully updated and reflect the latest changes from the web version.
📱Please note: The latest version of Pabau GO requires iOS 17 / iPadOS 17 or later. Devices that can't update to iOS 17 / iPadOS 17 won't be able to run it.
