This article will guide you through the steps to manually purchase credits so you can keep communicating with your clients and making the most of Pabau’s smart features.
Credits in Pabau are used for features like sending SMS messages to clients, holding video consultations, and using AI-powered tools. If you run out of credits and have auto top-up enabled, new credits will be purchased automatically. If not, you’ll need to manually top up your balance to keep using these features without any disruption.
NOTE: To purchase SMS credits in Pabau, you must have Stripe connected to your account. Stripe is required to process payments securely. If Stripe isn't connected, you won't be able to complete the credit purchase. Make sure your billing details are set up and Stripe is fully integrated before proceeding.

Step 1: Navigate to Setup
Start by logging into your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to Setup located on the bottom corner of the left sidebar menu, to access the Setup Page.
Next, click to expand the "Communications" tab under the Marketing & Communications section. This action will reveal the "Credits & SMS" sub-tab.
Step 2: Select a Bundle
You can manually purchase credits by selecting the desired bundle and clicking "Next Step" in the bottom right corner.
Step 3: Configure Settings
Configure the following settings in this stage:
- Low account level: Review and confirm the number of credits you'd like to maintain as your minimum balance. You can edit this number here if needed.
- When running low: Choose what should happen when your credit balance drops below the set level. If you'd prefer to purchase credits manually each time, select "Do Nothing."
Once you've configured these settings, select the "Next" button, on the bottom right corner of the page.
Step 4: Confirm Purchase
At this step, you can review the amount of credits you're about to purchase. If everything looks good and no changes are needed, go ahead and click the "Purchase" button in the bottom-right corner to complete your transaction.
