How to Edit a Patch Test in the Client Card (New Client Card)
This article covers the steps of editing a patch test in a client card.
This article covers the new Client Card, available to selected clinics from August 2026. If your Client Card looks different, see the How to Edit a Patch Test in the Client Card (Classic) guide instead.
Step 1: Navigate to the Client Card
Start by logging in to your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the search bar at the top of the page and type at least three letters of the client’s name. Pabau will filter the results as you type.
Step 2: Open the Patch Tests Section
Click the "EMR" tab (labelled "Chart" for US businesses), then click the "Patch Tests" card in the grid.

If you can’t see the Patch Tests card, the Patch Tests feature may be switched off for your business. You can enable it under Setup > Business Details > Features.
Step 3: Edit a Patch Test
Locate the patch test you want to edit and click the three-dot menu on the far right of its row. Select "Edit" from the options. The "Edit Patch Test" modal will open with all existing details pre-populated. Make your changes to the description, the staff member who performed the test, or the status (Pending, Passed or Failed), then click "Save changes" to apply them.
By following these steps, you can edit an already created patch test in the client card.
