How to Disable the Default Deposit Policy

In this article, we will demonstrate how to disable the default deposit policy while keeping your custom ones, or alternatively, how to disable all deposit policies entirely.

Step 1: Access Policies

Log in to your Pabau account, click on "Setup" in the left sidebar menu, then select "Policies" under Financials.

Step 2: Configure Deposit Settings

Click on "Deposits" to access deposit settings.

Step 3: Disable the Default Deposit Policy

Once in the deposit policy menu, in the top right corner, you can see the "Active" button. By selecting it, you will disable the deposit. Afterward, click "Save," and a pop-up will appear asking, "This policy will become active and override any default policies set against a service". Click 'Update,' and the default policy will be disabled until further change.

Disabling the option allows for custom deposits on specific services, but it won't apply universally since the option has been disabled.

NOTE: To set up service-specific deposits, overriding the default deposit policy when a particular service is booked, please follow the steps outlined in this article.
