In this article, we'll guide you through the process of creating custom SMS client notifications in your Pabau account.
Step 1: Accessing Client Notifications Settings
Begin by logging into your Pabau account. Navigate to the Setup section in the left sidebar menu. Within the Marketing & Communication category, select "Communications," then proceed to choose "Client Notifications."
Step 2: Exploring Notification Categories
Client notifications are organized into tabs such as Appointments, Engagement, Sharing, Classes, and Other, each containing various notification types tailored for specific purposes. If you intend to customize notifications across all types, replicate the process for each category.
Step 3: Customizing Notification Content
Select the specific notification you wish to customize. Switch to the "SMS Text" tab, then, in the Builder section on the left, choose the “Custom” tab, and click on “Edit” to begin designing the template.
Step 4: Using Merge Tags
In the "Message" section, enter the text message you want your clients to receive. To personalize the message, utilize merge tags. These are placeholders that automatically populate with specific information, such as a recipient's name or appointment details, when the message is sent or viewed. To add a new merge tag, click on "Add Merge Tag" and select the desired merge tag to incorporate into the message.
Step 5: Saving Your Custom Template
Once you're satisfied with the content of the template, click on "Save" located in the top right corner to preserve your changes.
