How to Block Clients From Booking

This guide explains how to use the Block Client feature to prevent specific clients from booking appointments. This feature gives your clinic more control over your schedule and client access.

Step 1: Navigate to the Client Card

Start by logging into your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the search bar at the top of the screen and type in the client's name. The name will appear on the search results, click to access their client card. 

Step 2: Select the Three Dots

Hover over the left hand side and additional options will appear. Click on the three dots located at the top right corner of the client's photo. 

Step 3: Block Client

Upon clicking the three dots, the "Block Client" option will appear.

Once you click "Block Client" you will get a prompt to confirm if you're sure you want to block this client. Click "Block" to finalize.

Now the client card will show a block sign in the client's photo.

Once a client is blocked, they will be restricted from performing key actions:

• No In-Clinic Booking: Staff members will not be able to book a new appointment for this client from the calendar.
• No Online Booking: The client will not be able to book new appointments through your online booking portal.
• No Portal Access: The client will be unable to log in to their Connect (client portal) account.

Step 4: Unblock Client

To unblock a client, simply navigate to the three dots, and the "Unblock" option will show. 

By following these steps, you can restrict bookings for certain clients in your Pabau account.
