How Package Sessions are Calculated

This guide explains how package sessions are calculated in Pabau.

When clients purchase a package in Pabau, the system automatically tracks and manages their sessions. But how does it calculate the value of each session?  Instead of assigning random prices, Pabau uses a structured approach to ensure each session is priced fairly based on the total package cost.

Let’s break down how session calculations work.

How Pabau Calculates Package Sessions

The price per session is determined using a simple formula:

Total Package Price ÷ Number of Sessions = Value per Session

For example:

  • If a package includes 5 sessions and is priced at £500, the calculation would be:
    £500 ÷ 5 sessions = £100 per session

Each time a client books a session from their package, Pabau deducts one session and records its value accordingly. This method ensures that every session has a fair and proportional price based on the total package cost.
