Client Outstanding Balance: Where It Appears in Pabau
This article explains where you can view a client’s outstanding balance in Pabau and how to access it from different parts of the system.
What is an Outstanding Balance?
An outstanding balance refers to the amount a client still owes for products or services they've received. In Pabau, keeping track of outstanding balances helps ensure accurate financial records and allows your team to easily follow up on unpaid invoices.
Whether it’s a missed payment or a balance left after a partial payment, knowing where to view this information is key to staying on top of your clinic’s revenue.
Where to Locate Outstanding Client Balances
1. Client Card
You can view a client’s outstanding balance directly from their Client Card. Simply search for and open the client card at the search bar at the top of the screen.
You’ll see the Outstanding Balance displayed in red right on the Financials tab. This makes it quick and easy to spot if any payments are still due.
If you click into the Financials tab, two sub-tabs will appear below:

Outstanding Balance – This shows the unpaid amounts the client currently owes.

Total Invoiced – This shows the total value of all invoices created for the client.
2. Reports
You can also check outstanding client balances in the Reports section. Simply go to the left sidebar and expand the Analytics tab, then click on Reports.
In the Financials section, you’ll find a pre-created report called Outstanding Invoices.
This report is already filtered to show unpaid invoices, so you can easily see all balances that are still outstanding.
If you click on an invoice number in the Outstanding Invoices report, you’ll be taken directly to that unpaid invoice within the client’s card for easy review and management.
This report also includes a pie chart view, giving you a visual breakdown of outstanding invoices at a glance.
3. Invoices Page
You can also view outstanding balances on the Invoices page. To access it, expand the 'Money' tab in the left sidebar. This page displays all invoices, including those that are unpaid.
The 'Balance' column displays the remaining amount the client still needs to pay.
If you click the invoice number, you’ll be redirected straight to that specific invoice within the client’s card for a more detailed view.
4. Checkout Screen
You’ll also see the outstanding balance on the Checkout Completed screen after raising an invoice. If an invoice is unpaid or partially paid, the remaining amount will be clearly shown in red, making it easy to track what’s still owed before closing the sale.
