How to Set Up a Product Scanner
In this article we will cover how you can set up a barcode scanner to scan your products in Pabau.
Step 1: Plug In Your Scanner
Plug the barcode scanner into your computer's USB port or pair with Bluetooth.
Step 2: Recognize Device
Your computer should recognize the scanner automatically. You might see a notification indicating that the device is ready to use, or the scanner will automatically turn on.
Step 3: Scan a Product
Navigate to Stock on the left sidebar menu and select Inventory to start a new stocktake and scan products.
NOTE: For the scan to work, the barcode needs to be added to the product beforehand in the general details.
When you're ready to scan, simply run the scanner over the product's barcode. The product information will automatically appear on the Pabau screen.
