How to Customize the Summary Tab in the Client Card
In this article, we’ll show you how to customise the Summary tab in the client card. This allows you to control which widgets are shown, arrange their order, and personalise the layout to suit your clinic’s workflow.
Step 1: Navigate to Fields
Go to the left-hand menu and click on ''Setup''. From there, click on Data under the Business section and choose ''Fields''.
Step 2: Open the ''Customize Summary Tab''
Inside the ''Fields'' section, click on ''Customize Summary Tab''. This will open a layout where you can manage which widgets appear in the Summary tab of the client card and how they’re arranged.

Step 3: Customise the Summary Tab Layout
In this section, you can customise how the Summary tab appears on the client card. It’s designed to provide a clear overview of key client information and can be adjusted to match your clinic’s workflow.
You can:

Name your layout – Use the field at the top to give your custom layout a clear and descriptive name.

Set it as the default view – Choose whether this layout should be applied as the default for all employees across the clinic.

Rearrange the sections – Use the three-line icon next to each item to drag and drop it into a new position.

Enable or disable items – Click on the toggle in the Status column to show or hide specific sections.

Preview changes in real time – A live preview on the right-hand side will update as you make adjustments.
NOTE: Setting a layout as the default will apply it for all employees, unless they have a custom view set up individually. To learn how to create a custom Summary view, check out this article.
Once you're happy with the layout, click ''Save'' in the top-right corner to apply your changes.
Once you save the changes, the updated Summary tab layout will be reflected on the client card immediately.
