How to Create and Manage Cancellation Reasons

Creating cancellation reasons and using them later to track patients' canceled appointments is essential. Here's how you can create and manage cancellation reasons:

Step 1: Navigate to Cancellation Reasons

Start by logging into your Pabau account. Once you're in, click on Setup in the left sidebar menu, then click on Objects under "Developer and Other", and select Cancellation Reasons.

 

Step 2: Create a Cancellation Reason

Click the New Cancellation Reason button in the top right corner. In the pop-up window, enter a name for the cancellation reason and click Create.

If you want to apply the cancellation policy, select the "Yes" option. For more information on the cancellation policy, refer to this guide

Step 3: Edit or Delete a Cancellation Reason

  • To edit a cancellation reason, click on it, make your changes, and then click Save.
  • To delete a cancellation reason, click on it, select Delete, and confirm the deletion when prompted.

Step 4: Apply the Cancellation Reasons

Once you’ve created your cancellation reasons, you can apply them directly when canceling an appointment from the calendar.
