This article covers the online booking process from start to finish.
The Online Booking platform has received immense refinements in Pabau 2. Alongside being visually refined, it's been radically improved in terms of functionality.
But you might need some help familiarising yourself with the new platform.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to book an appointment on Pabau 2's Online Booking platform.
Online Booking (from a Client Perspective)
In the upper right corner is the Login button. After clicking on it, you'll be forwarded to the login screen. Input your details and click on Log in.
If you don't have an account, click on Register underneath and follow the instructions on the screen. 
If this is not your first visit to the clinic, do remember to use the e-mail you provided when you registered for your first appointment. That way, your online account will be linked with your existing client card.
After logging in, the first thing you see is your Dashboard, which will include information about past and upcoming appointments. But for now, turn your attention to the upper right corner once more.
On the left of your avatar, is the Book Appointment button. Click on it.
The first step is selecting the service. 
In the picture above, we can see the service categories that are available online. Clicking on them will reveal the services within.
The service categories will remain visible on the left side, and the services on the right.
Services may feature information about their duration, pricing, friendly descriptions, or even the review score for it.
To select a service, click on it.
Now that you've selected a service, click on Next on the menu at the bottom to proceed.
The next step is selecting the location.
You can use the search bar or select the locations underneath it. If the location step was skipped, don't worry! Your clinic has just opted to auto-select your previously visited location.
Following the location step is the select employee step. Your clinic can also opt to skip this step in the online booking process, in which case you'll be able to select based on calendar availability in the next step. Otherwise, you'll be able to choose between the practitioners available to the booked online, or select No preference.
The information available will wary based on your clinic's preferences/settings.
Now, you need to pick the date and time.
On the left is the calendar. Clicking on a slot will open the availability on the right. Each slot will feature colour markers related to the availability within:
- Morning availability will be marked with the colour orange
- Afternoon availability will be marked with the colour blue
- Evening availability will be marked with the colour pink
The colour markers allow you to see availability for a given day at a glance.
Above the calendar, you have the option to navigate to the previous or upcoming month(s).
Click on a day slot on the calendar to select it. This will reveal the available time slots on the right side.
Underneath it, you can preview your basket.
You also have the option of selecting another service for your booking.
Clicking on an available slot will forward you to the booking details.
Some of the booking details can be amended - they'll feature a marker you can click on to be taken to the appropriate stage. Additionally, you can add an optional comment for your booking. If satisfied with everything, click on Confirm Appointment or Proceed To Payment, if the clinic requires the payment of a deposit.
With the booking finalised, we can now find it under Appointments (by clicking on our avatar in the top right corner).
