How to Add Additional Forms in the Pabau App Journey

In this article, we’ll show you how to add additional consent forms and treatment notes directly within the journey using the Pabau app.

This is useful when a client requires extra documentation during an appointment - whether that’s for additional treatments or if something was missed during the initial steps.

Step 1: Start the Client Journey

To initiate a client journey, open the app and navigate to the Journey tab. Here, you can view all the appointments scheduled for the day, and you can select a different day using the date picker at the top of the screen. Locate and select the client’s appointment where you need to add additional forms.

Step 2: Access the Forms Section

Before adding any new forms, make sure you complete the standard journey steps including:

  • Checking personal details

  • Completing the medical history

  • Signing the initial consent form

  • Taking photos

  • Completing the default treatment note

Once those are complete, tap the plus icon (+) in the top-right corner of the screen. This will open a list of available forms in your system.

Step 3: Select an Additional Form

Once you access the forms list, choose the additional form  you want to add.

This list will show all available forms in your system, so you can easily select the one that applies to the client's treatment.

After selecting a form, it will appear alongside the other journey steps with a '‘Pending'’ status. Tap on the form to open and complete it.

Step 4: Complete the Additional Form

Tap the form to open it and fill out the required information, such as consent details or treatment notes.

After completing the form, tap ''Save'' in the top-right corner to update the client’s record. The status will then change from “Pending” to “Completed.”

Step 6: Complete the Journey

To complete the journey, tap "Complete."

The status of the appointment in the Journey tab will update to ''Completed,'' and the payment status will show as Paid.
