Transfer Data from Acuity Scheduling to Pabau

This article covers what data you can transfer from Acuity Scheduling to Pabau.

If you're switching to Pabau from Acuity Scheduling, here's everything you need to know about transferring your data into your Pabau account!

The first step is to book a 15-minute meeting with our implementation specialists using the link in your welcome email. This meeting will guide you through the data migration process and answer any questions you may have.

Once you've done that, please read through the guide below. It's important to review each section thoroughly, as it outlines your role in the transfer, and what we do for you.

Organizing the Export of Your Account Data with Acuity Scheduling

To perform the transfer, we will need an export of your account data. You can obtain the export by doing one of the following:

  • 🌟Recommended:  Contact Acuity Scheduling Support to export your data. Please note that account exports may be a billable service.
  • Export the data yourself;
  • Provide us with your Acuity Scheduling login credentials so we can export the data for you. Due to software limitations, our team may sometimes be unable to export all the data ourselves. In such cases, you will need to contact your previous vendor's customer support team to request the data.

Please note that any EMR attachments must be obtained either through Acuity's support team or manually downloaded, as the software does not support bulk export.

Any data entered into Acuity Scheduling after the export will not be transferred to Pabau, as it won't be included in the exported data. This data will need to be noted and manually entered into Pabau after the transfer has been completed.

We can transfer the following data from Acuity Scheduling to Pabau:

  • Client Details 
  • Staff 
  • Appointments
  • Medical History 

Going Live with Your Pabau Account

The data import process typically takes about 7-10 business days, depending on the volume of data.

After the migration is complete, you will have a data validation call with your implementation specialist to review the imported data and confirm its accuracy.

Following this, you will receive a sign-off survey. Once you submit the survey, your implementation specialist will activate your account, and you will receive your login credentials via email.

At this stage, we highly recommend enrolling in the "Get Started" course at the Pabau Academy.

This course offers short, bite-sized lessons on the basic setup of your Pabau account. It is split into two parts, each focusing on essential information. As you follow along, you will set up your own Pabau account, learning by doing.

If you have purchased a success package, you will receive an email with a link to book a meeting with our Customer Success representatives, who will assist you in setting up your account.
