If you're new to clinical software and signing up with Pabau for the first time, here's what to expect during the transition process.

Schedule an Onboarding Meeting
You can book a 15-minute onboarding call with one of our implementation specialists to go over the data that you wish to import into the software. The data migration process will involve and answer any questions you may have.
- You can schedule an onboarding call using the link you'll receive in your email, tailored to your subscription type.
- If we don't hear from you within 48 hours, we'll reach out to arrange the call.
Send Over Your Data
If you don't have data that needs to be imported into our system, you will need to fill out the spreadsheets Pabau provides so that we have all your clinic information. To download the spreadsheets and get started click here.
On the spreadsheets, you can fill out:
- Users (anyone who'll be using Pabau)
- Services (treatments you offer)
- Packages (packages you offer)
- Stock
- Clients
- Appointments
- Financials (Invoices and payments)
If you have client medical records on paper, scan them and send them to us as pictures or PDFs during the onboarding phase.
If there are any attachments or images you would like to add to the client cards in Pabau, share them with us via WeTransfer or Google Drive.
NOTE: Ensure that any attachments you send are labeled with the patient's name and patient ID so they can be associated properly.
Share any Medical Forms You Want to Keep Using
You can migrate your own existing medical form templates into Pabau - just forward them to us in Word or PDF format, and our team will create them in the system for you.
You also have the flexibility to customize existing templates or create new ones from scratch. Follow this article to learn more about Pabau medical form templates.
Review the Data Imported
Our onboarding team receives your data and flags any potential issues. Depending on the amount of data, the import process usually takes 7-10 business days.
If needed, you can go over the data in a short validation meeting. In the data validation call with your implementation specialist, you can review the imported data and confirm its accuracy.
Going Live With Your Pabau Account
After your data is imported into Pabau, you will receive a sign-off survey. Once you submit the survey, your implementation specialist will activate your account, and you will receive your login credentials via email.
At this stage, we highly recommend enrolling in the "Get Started" course at the Pabau Academy.
If you have purchased a success package, you will receive an email with a link to book a meeting with our Customer Success representatives, who will assist you in setting up your account.
