How to use a HTML code in your Newsletters, Automations and Client Notifications

This article explains how you can use HTML code to insert your own design into Pabau for newsletters, automations, and client notifications.

Insert HTML Code into Newsletters

Step 1: Create a Campaign

To design your campaigns using HTML code, you can start by creating a newsletter campaign under the Broadcasts tab and filling out all necessary fields regarding the campaign.

Step 2: Design Your Campaign

All templates will appear on the Design tab.


To find the option to insert your own HTML code, scroll down to the end of the page and select the "Code Your Own" template. 


After selecting the template, click "Next" at the top right side of the page to continue.


Insert your code under the Edit Code field, and you will get a preview on the left-hand side. If everything looks okay, proceed to click "Next."


You will be directed to the Design page, where you can enhance your template by adding additional components. Simply drag and drop any component you'd like to add.


After making all desired changes, ensure all other tabs, such as Settings and Audience, are filled out. Then, proceed to send or schedule the campaign.

Insert HTML Code into Automations

Step 1: Create an Automation

To design your automations using HTML code, start by creating an automation under the Automations tab and filling out all necessary fields regarding the Automation.

Step 2: Design Your Automation

Switch to the Design tab to proceed with designing your automation. 


If you want to use your own HTML code instead of the predefined templates offered by Pabau, scroll down to the bottom of the page, where you can find the "Code Your Own" template. 


After selecting the template, you will be directed to enter your HTML code and preview it on the left-hand side. If everything appears okay, click the Next button at the top right corner of the page to proceed.


You can add additional components provided on the right-hand side if you need to make any more adjustments. Drag and drop any component you'd like to add.


After making all the necessary changes, please ensure all other tabs, such as Settings and Audience, are filled out. You can review your automation in the review tab, check what fields need to be populated, and schedule it for sending based on your preferred timing.

By following these steps, you can efficiently create and customize automations in Pabau.

Insert HTML Code into Client Notifications

Step 1: Create Custom Client Notifications

To use your own custom templates on Pabau, you will need to create custom client notifications

on the Client Notifications page.


Start by selecting the notification you'd like to customize.

Instead of the default client notification that appears when you initially select the notification type, switch to the custom tab and proceed to edit

Step 2: Design Your Client Notification

To enter your own HTML code to design the client notification, simply drag and drop the HTML component listed on the right-hand side onto the page.

Proceed to click on the "Hello, world" default text that appears once you insert the HTML component on the page. On the right-hand side, you will be able to enter your HTML code.


After entering your HTML code, you can preview it on the screen.


If you need to add an additional component, you can do so by clicking on the close icon and proceeding to drag and drop any of the components you prefer. 


After you customize your notification, click Save at the top right side of the page so the changes are updated.

By following these steps, you can customize your client notifications and add a touch of creativity to your communications.
