This guide explains how to use the powerful, time-saving update to the 'Create' button on the client card.
This menu now intelligently reorganizes itself based on the section of the client card you are currently viewing.
This change means the actions you are most likely to need are always at the top of the list, reducing clicks and helping you work faster and more efficiently.
Step 1: Navigate to the Client Card
Start by logging into your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the search bar located at the top of the screen and search for your client by typing their name. Click their name that appears on the search results to access their client card.
Step 2: Click the "Create" Button
When you click the blue 'Create' button (+) in the bottom-left of a client's profile, the list of options will dynamically change. The most relevant option for your current task will appear at the very top.
1. Standard View
When you are in the main client profile view or any other tab not specified below, the list maintains its standard order with 'Communication' positioned at the top.
- Top Option: Communication
2. EMR (Electronic Medical Records) / Chart
While working within a client's medical records, the 'Create' button adapts to the specific EMR section you have open.

3. Financials
Managing a client's finances is now faster. The menu prioritizes sales and quotes based on your view.

When on the Financials > QUOTES sub-tab:
- Top Option: Quote
- Second Option: Sale
4. Activities
When you are managing client tasks and activities, the menu streamlines your workflow.
- When on the Activities tab:
- Top Option: Activity
NOTE: While the primary options reorder themselves for your convenience, some items will always remain at the bottom of the list to ensure consistency. These are:
- Installed Apps
- Present Day Appointments
