In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps on how to use the Bulk Item Editor to efficiently update your packages in Pabau — including pricing, duration, session count, tax rate, and more.
Step 1: Navigate to Packages
Log in to your Pabau account, and in the left sidebar menu, go to Setup, then click on "Packages" under the Services section.
Step 2: Access the Bulk Edit Tool
Once you're in the ''Packages'' section, look for the ''Bulk Item Editor'' in the top-right corner of the screen. Click this button to start making your updates.
Step 3: Choose the Item Type to Edit
Once you open the Bulk Item Editor, you’ll see a search bar at the top where you can search for specific items by name - helpful if you have a large list. Next to it, there’s a ''Show Archived Items'' button that, when clicked, will display any packages that have been archived.
Below that, you’ll see tabs for Products, Services, and Packages. Click on ''Packages'' to proceed with editing package details.
Step 4: Filter and Edit Package Details
After selecting ''Packages'' in the Bulk Item Editor, you'll see a table displaying columns such as Status, Item, Service, Category, Session Count, Duration, Price, Tax Rate, and others. 
Filtering Packages
Each column header has a small icon with three horizontal lines. Clicking this icon opens a dropdown menu with filter conditions like "Contains," "Equals," "Begins with," "Ends with'', etc.
For example, to find package items related to Botox, click the filter icon next to the ''Item column'', select ''Begins with'', and enter "Botox" in the search bar.
You can combine multiple conditions using "AND" or "OR" to refine your search further.
Editing Package Details
To edit fields like Status, Session Count, Duration, Price, or others, double-click the desired cell, enter the new value or select from the dropdown (depending on whether you're updating a price or duration), and press the ''Enter'' key to save the change.
A button will appear at the top right corner of the screen, indicating that the changes have been saved.
