How to Transfer a Package Session to a Client's Account

To transfer the value of a package session to a client's account, refund the original package invoice and apply the refund to the client's account balance. Please note that sessions that have already been redeemed cannot be transferred. 

Step 1: Open the Client Card

Log into your Pabau account and search for the client whose package session you want to transfer. Click on their name to open their client card.

Step 2: Locate the package invoice 

On the client's profile, go to the Financials tab. Locate the invoice for the package purchase and click on it to open it. 

Step 3: Initiate a refund

Once inside the invoice, click the Options button in the top right corner and select Refund from the dropdown menu.

Step 4: Set the refund amount

On the refund screen, you will see a breakdown of the payments made against the invoice. Select the refund amount that corresponds to the value of the remaining sessions — either by choosing one of the preset percentages or entering a custom amount.

Step 5: Refund to account

At the bottom of the refund screen, select Account as the refund method. Enter a reason for the refund in the required field, then click Refund Now to complete the process.

Once the refund is processed, you can confirm it was applied successfully in two places:

• Financials tab - the account balance displayed next to the tab name will update to reflect the added amount. The original invoice will also show a Refund label next to it.
  
  
• Payments tab - a new entry will appear showing the transaction type as Refund and the method as Account, confirming the value has been added to the client's account balance.
  
  

By following these steps, you can easily transfer the value of unused package sessions to a client's account balance, making it available for future use.
