How to Set up Staff Notifications

In this article you will learn how to set up your notifications in Pabau.

Staff notifications are essential as they keep you updated on your clients' activities. You'll be notified whenever a client books an appointment, completes a form, or leaves a review. This ensures you're always in the loop, allowing for timely follow-ups and better customer service.

Step 1: Navigate to Setup

Start by logging in to your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the Setup page. Next, locate your avatar in the top-right corner of the screen and select ''Account Settings'' from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Access ''Account Settings'' and ''Notifications''

Once in the Account Settings, navigate to the ''Notifications'' tab in the left side bar menu. From there, you will see the notifications for ''Appointments'' and ''Leads''. 

If you would like to receive notifications for all online bookings, regardless of who they are booked with, you can set up an email for company notifications in your online booking settings. For more details, refer to the following guide.

Step 3: Set up  ''Appointments'' notifications 

Click on the "Appointments" section, and you'll see a list of appointment-related notifications you can enable. You can choose to be notified when someone books, cancels, completes a form, or leaves a review for an appointment.

Note: You will only receive notifications for appointments booked with you, not for those scheduled with other staff members.

Step 4: Set up ''Lead'' Notifications

Click on the "Leads" section, where you can enable notifications for new lead inquiries. This way, you'll be notified whenever a new lead expresses interest.

You'll receive these notifications whenever a lead fills out the Pabau lead form embedded on your website. If you haven't added the Pabau lead form to your site, and would like to, simply reach out to the Support team for assistance.

There are two ways to receive notifications for your client's actions: email and Pabau Web.

 If you choose email, you will receive a hard-coded email with the details of the action taken. The content of this email cannot be changed.

If you choose Pabau Web, you will receive a notification in the web version of Pabau, specifically in the "View notifications" bell icon right next to your avatar in the top right corner. 

Make sure to save the changes made to your settings by clicking on "Save Changes" in the top right corner.
