How to Set Up Service-Specific Deposits

In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of configuring deposits specific to individual services within your Pabau account.

If you have a default deposit policy for most of your services but wish to charge different deposits for specific services, follow these steps.

Step 1: Access Service Settings

Log in to your Pabau account, click on "Setup" in the left sidebar menu, and click on "Services" under Services.

Step 2: Locate and Edit the Service

Search for the service you wish to apply a specific deposit policy to and click on it to open the editing modal.

Step 3: Configure Deposit Settings

Click on the "Pricing" tab and navigate to the "Deposits & Online Payments" section. Here, choose whether to apply the default company policy or request a fixed amount or percentage specific to this service, different from the default policy.

Alternatively, you can choose to request full payment for the service or not request a deposit at all.

In the "Apply to" section, select whether the service-specific deposit will be applicable to online bookings exclusively, to all bookings (including manual bookings), or if it will adhere to the setting you configured in your default deposit policy.

Step 4: Save Changes

To save the changes, click on "Save" in the top right corner.

These configured settings will override the default deposit policy and apply exclusively to this particular service, allowing you to customize deposit requirements based on individual service needs.
