How to Set Up Multiple Wallets

This article covers how you can set up and manage multiple wallets in your Pabau account.

With the Wallets feature, practices can connect multiple Stripe accounts to manage payments more efficiently. This allows for greater flexibility in handling transactions across different locations.

NOTE: Before adding multiple Stripe accounts, a Primary (Company) Stripe account must be set up. This serves as the default payment account for the business.


Step 1: Navigate to Setup 

Start by logging into your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the Card terminals tab located under the Financials section. 

Step 2: Switch to the Wallets Tab

Once you're on the Card Terminals page, navigate to the Wallets tab in the left menu. Here, you'll find a list of all available wallets. If you don't have any wallets set up yet, you can create a new one from this section.

NOTE: In Pabau, you have the flexibility to set up both location wallets and personal wallets. Location wallets are linked to specific clinic locations, for more information on setting up a location wallet, refer to this article. Personal wallets, on the other hand, are tied to individual staff members. For more information on setting up personal wallets, refer to this article. 

Step 3: Connect Wallet 

To create a wallet, click the "Create Wallet" button located in the top right corner of the page to begin the setup process.

A pop-up will appear with important warnings regarding wallet setup. Carefully review the information, and once you're ready to proceed, click the "I Understand" button to confirm.

Step 4: Log in/ Create a Stripe Account

You'll be redirected to a Stripe window where you can either create a new Stripe Express account or log into an existing one. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Step 5: Define Your Wallet Name & Set Status

After successfully connecting your Stripe account, you’ll need to assign a name to your wallet. Additionally, set the wallet's status to Active to ensure it’s ready for use. Once everything is set up, save the wallet. It will now appear in your Wallets List, where you can manage it as needed.

For each wallet, the business can view the following details:

  • Status – Indicates whether the wallet is Active or Inactive.
  • Wallet Name – The assigned name of the wallet.
  • Account ID – The Stripe Account ID linked to the wallet.
  • Wallet Email – The email address associated with the connected Stripe account.
  • Locations – The locations where this wallet can be used, which is essential for Point of Sale (POS) transactions.

By following these steps, you can set up multiple wallets in your Pabau account.
