How to Set Up a Service for Booking by Existing Clients Only

This article explains how to set up a service to be available for online booking only by existing clients who have had a previous treatment.

Step 1: Navigate to Services

Start by logging into your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the Setup page. Under the Services section you'll find the 'Services' tab. 

Step 2: Switch to the Online Bookings Tab

On the Services page, find the service you want to restrict for bookings. When editing the service, switch to the 'Online Bookings' tab. 

Step 3: Restrict Patient Bookings

Scroll down and expand the 'Advanced Settings' section. You’ll see the following options:

  • Existing & New: The service is available for booking by both existing and new clients.
  • Existing: Only clients who have had any previous appointment with your practice can book this service.
  • New: The service is exclusively available for new clients.
  • Previously had: The service can be booked by clients who have completed specific services before. You can select which service(s) apply.

Select Existing or Previously had to restrict bookings.

NOTE: To enable clients to book these services, make sure to mark their previous appointments as 'Complete' in the calendar.

Step 4: Save Changes

Once you've configured the settings, ensure to click the 'Save' button at the top right corner to save the changes.

By following these steps, you can restrict bookings for certain services.
