How to Refund an Invoice with Stripe

This article explains how you can refund an invoice with Stripe in Pabau.

Step 1: Navigate to the Client Card

Start by logging into your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the search bar at the top of the screen and type at least three letters for the client to show.

Step 2: Switch to the Financials Tab

Once you access the client card, go to the Financials tab to see all invoices linked to the client.

Step 3: Locate the Invoice 

Locate the invoice you want to refund and click the invoice number on the left side to access more options.

Step 4: Expand the 'Options' Tab

Go to the Options tab in the top right corner of the invoice to view available actions, including the option to issue a refund.

Step 5: Configure Refund Settings

Here, you can define the details of the refund before processing it:

• Refund date: Choose the date the refund should be processed. 
• Refund amount: Select a percentage of the total or enter a custom amount to refund.
• Refund method: Select how the refund will be issued—choose Stripe.

Step 6: Process Refund

Once you select Stripe as the refund method, a pop-up window will appear for confirmation. Click 'Refund Now' on the bottom right corner to complete the process.
