How to Manage iOS Permissions

This article explains how you can enable or disable staff permissions when using the Pabau Go iOS app.

With the latest update, permissions in the iOS app now fully align with those in your Pabau 2 web account — ensuring consistent control over what each team member can see or do, whether on desktop or mobile.

Step 1: Navigate to Team

Start by logging into your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the "Team" tab located on the left sidebar menu and click to expand it. Click the "Team" sub-tab to access your staff members.

Step 2: Select Team Member

Select a staff member's profile to continue.

Step 3: Manage Permissions

Switch to the "Permissions" tab. Here, you’ll see all available permissions for the selected staff member, listed from Dashboard through to Apps.

The steps for managing permissions are the same as in the desktop version of Pabau — the only difference is that the permissions marked with the Pabau logo also apply to Pabau Go iOS.

1. Calendar Permissions

These control access to the Calendar page in the app.

  • Can access calendar page: When enabled, the staff member can view and use the calendar as usual.

  • When disabled, the Calendar button will be inactive and show a “no permission” message if tapped.

2. Team Permissions

These permissions affect scheduling and team management in the iOS app.

  • Can access scheduler page: Grants access to the Schedule section from the menu.

    • Also applies to the Open Availability button when tapping on an empty slot in the calendar.

  • Can access teammates page: Allows access to Menu > Team.

  • When disabled, these sections are grayed out or hidden entirely.

3. Leads Permissions

  • Can access leads page: Controls access to Menu > Leads.
If disabled, the Leads tab will be unavailable.

4. Clients Permissions

  • Can access clients page: Allows staff to view the Clients section.
When disabled, they will not see this page in the menu.

5. Analytics Permissions

  • Can access reports page: Gives access to Menu > Reports.
Without it, the Reports button is hidden from view.

6. Setup Page Permissions

  • Can access Setup page: Controls visibility for all items under Menu > Setup,
except Teams, which has a dedicated permission.

Step 4: Save Changes

Once you've configured the permissions, proceed to click the "Save Changes" button at the top right corner of the screen to finalize the update.

By following these steps, you can easily manage staff member permissions for your Pabau GO iOS app.
