Access Settings in Pabau allow clinics to protect sensitive client information while enabling collaboration where needed. With this feature, admins can manage individual or multiple client records, assign primary and secondary owners, and set access levels for your team efficiently. #### **Step 1: Navigate to Team** Start by [logging into your Pabau account](http://app.pabau.com/) using your login credentials. This helps you focus only on the records you need. **Selecting Clients** The first column lists all client names with checkboxes. Click **"Select all \[X\] active clients"** to select every client at once, or check individual clients to select them one by one. **Primary Owner** The Primary Owner column lets you assign the main owner of a client record via a dropdown. This person has full control over the client's information. **Who Has Access?**  The Who Has Access column shows which staff members can view the client record. Hover over **"Who has access?"** to see more details on who can access it and why.  **Access Levels** The Access column displays the client's current visibility, adjustable via a dropdown. Options include: - **Appointment** – access granted by scheduled appointments - **Public** – all team members can access - **Location** – access limited to staff associated with the client's location - **Owners Only** – primary and secondary owners only - **Team** – follows team visibility rules **Switching Views** In the top right corner, toggle between two views: - **List**: Shows each client with their Primary Owner, Who Has Access, and Access level in a simple table. - **Matrix**: Shows each client's access level alongside every staff member, with a checkmark or cross indicating whether that staff member currently has access. ![How to Manage Client Access Settings 4](https://support.pabau.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Clients%20category/How%20to%20Manage%20Client%20Access%20Settings%204.png?width=602&height=252&name=How%20to%20Manage%20Client%20Access%20Settings%204.png) **Bulk Actions** Once you've selected one or more clients, click **"Bulk actions"** in the bottom right corner.
