[Communications](https://support.pabau.com/en/pabau2/communications?hsLang=en#communications) # How to Link Pre-Care and After-Care Templates to Services ## In this article, we'll cover how to link your pre-care and after-care templates with services in bulk. #### Step 1: Navigate to Templates [Log into your Pabau account](https://app.pabau.com/), then click on "[Setup](https://app.pabau.com/setup)"' in the left sidebar menu. This is for internal use only. - **Dropdown**: By selecting this option, all template groups you've created in the system will appear. Choose 'aftercare' as the template type. After saving, you will be able to see what services are linked to the template under the "Services" column.  ![image-png-May-22-2026-11-48-10-1312-AM](https://support.pabau.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-May-22-2026-11-48-10-1312-AM.png?width=670&height=343&name=image-png-May-22-2026-11-48-10-1312-AM.png) Additionally, you’ll notice the "Status" field, which will display either "Active" or "Manual": - **Active**: The template is connected to the relevant services and will be sent automatically to clients when they book an appointment (depending on the template settings). - **Manual**: No services are connected to the template, and it can only be sent manually to clients. **Editing Existing Templates** If you need to add more services to an existing template, simply go to "Templates", click on the template you want to edit, add the services under "Related services", and save your changes.
