How to Link Pre-Care and After-Care Templates to Services

In this article, we'll cover how to link your pre-care and after-care templates with services in bulk.

Step 1: Navigate to Templates

Log into your Pabau account, then click on 'Setup' in the left sidebar menu. Under 'Marketing & Communication', click on 'Communications', and select 'Templates'.

Step 2: Create Pre-Care and After-Care Templates

On the 'Templates' page, create your pre-care and after-care templates by clicking on 'Create template' and selecting 'Email' as the type.

In the text builder, enter the name, subject, and content of the email. Make sure to select the appropriate type in the 'Type' field—either pre-care or after-care.


This is important for the system to determine when the email should be sent: pre-care emails are sent right after the appointment is booked, while after-care emails are sent once the appointment is marked as completed.

Step 3: Link Templates to Services

After selecting 'pre-care' or 'after-care' as the type, an additional 'Related services' field will appear. Click on this field and select all the services this template should apply to.

Step 4: Save the Template

Once you've linked the template to the services, click 'Save template' to finalize the creation.

Editing Existing Templates

If you need to add more services to an existing template, simply go to 'Templates', click on the template you want to edit, add the services under 'Related services', and save your changes.
