How to Delete an Inventory Count

This article explains how you can delete an inventory count from Pabau.

Step 1: Navigate to Stock

Start by logging in to your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to "Stock" in the left sidebar menu. Once you click on "Stock," the "Inventory" tab will appear.

Step 2: Review Inventory

On the Inventory page, you can view all counts performed in your Pabau account and filter them by location.

Step 3: Delete Inventory Count

To remove a count from your inventory records hover your cursor over the count, and you will notice three dots appearing on the far right side of the inventory count name. This will reveal the "Cancel" option. Clicking on this option will prompt a confirmation dialog, asking if you are sure you want to delete the stock count. Confirm the deletion by clicking "Yes."

NOTE: You can only delete paused inventory counts, not completed ones. This ensures that no active counts are accidentally removed, maintaining the accuracy of your inventory records.

Additionally, you can also delete an inventory count when starting a new inventory count; during the counting stage, if you click the back button on the top left corner of the page to return to the previous stage, you will be prompted to delete the stocktake.

The count will now disappear from the inventory page. By following these steps, you can delete an inventory count in your Pabau account.
