How to Create Alerts

This article explains how you can add alerts for your clients in Pabau.


Client alerts in Pabau help you keep track of important information about your clients, ensuring that your team is always aware of key details when interacting with them. These alerts can be used to highlight medical notes, special requests, VIP status, or any other crucial information that staff members need to see at a glance.

How to Create Alerts in a Client Card

Step 1: Navigate to the Client Card 

Start by logging into your Pabau account using your login credentials. Next, use the search bar at the top of the screen to type in the client’s first or last name. Once their name appears, click it to open their client card.

Additionally, navigate to the Clients page located on the left sidebar menu to access the client list. Then, search for clients using the search bar located in the top right corner.

Step 2: Add Alert 

Once you access the client card, navigate to the top right corner and click the Alert icon. Here's where you can view and add new staff alerts for clients. 

NOTE: These alerts are for internal use only and are not visible to clients.

Type your alert into the field or use the "#" symbol to search for a condition. Once you've added the alert, press "Enter" on your keyboard to add it.

The alert will now appear under the "Alerts & Allergies" section in the client card and will also pop up when booking the client through the calendar. In the section below, we'll walk you through how to add alerts directly from the calendar.

By following these steps, you can successfully add Alerts to a client card.  


How to Create Alerts in the Calendar

Step 1: Navigate to the Calendar 

Start by logging into your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the "Calendar" tab located on the left sidebar menu to access your calendar. 

Step 2: Select Appointment Slot

Proceed to select an available slot to book an appointment, which will reveal the Book Appointment modal.

Step 3: Insert Client Name

Type the client name in the "Select Client" field at the top of the Book Appointment modal. 

As soon as you select the client, their alerts, along with notes, files, photos, and allergies, will be revealed on the right-hand side of the modal.

Step 4: Add Alert

To add a new alert for the client, click the Alert icon.

NOTE: These alerts are for internal use only and are not visible to clients.

A pop-up window will appear where you can type a new alert or use the "#" symbol to search for a condition to add as an alert for this client. Click the "Add" button to finalize.

The new alert will immediately be reflected in the Alerts & Allergies section in the Book Appointment modal as well as on their client card.
