How to Apply a Predefined Discount in the Point of Sale

In this article, we'll cover how to add a discount from the Point of Sale.

Step 1: Navigate to the Point Of Sale

Log in to your Pabau account and navigate to the search bar at the top of the page. Click on the Create button and select 'Sale'.

Step 2: Select Items for Sale

Once in the Point of Sale, choose the client from the top right corner of the screen, and then navigate to the left-hand side and choose the item you wish to proceed to sell.

You can select from all the options: Product, Service, Package, Consumable, or Gift Voucher. Click on the category, for example, Packages, and then choose from the list which one you'd like to add to the client's cart.

Step 3: Apply Discount

After you've chosen the items you want to add to the invoice/cart, click on the name of the service, for example, and a prompt will appear. From here, under the discount dropdown menu, you can add a discount from the previously created discounts in the system.

By following these steps, you'll be able to add a discount to any item from the Point of Sale.
