How to Add a Consumable Product in the Point of Sale

This article covers how you can sell a consumable product from the Point of Sale.

Step 1: Navigate to the Point of Sale

Start by logging in to your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the Create button at the top of the page, next to the search bar. Proceed to click "Sale" to access the point of sale.

Step 2: Select Client and Choose Products

Initially, select the client at the top right corner of the page to proceed with the sale. Once selected, all categories will be available for you to choose from. Under the "Consumable" category, you will find all the products of type consumable you've created.

NOTE: Consumable products cannot be sold individually. For more information on creating products in Pabau, please refer to this article.

Once you've added another retail product or service in the point of sale, the Continue button will become clickable.

Step 3: Process Payment

By clicking "Continue," you'll proceed to the payment page, where you can select the client's preferred payment method to process the payment.

After selecting the appropriate option, click "Confirm Payment" or "Save as Unpaid" if the client has yet to pay to finalize the action. The invoice can be found on their client card under the Financials tab.

NOTE: Consumables don't show on the invoice.
