Client Notifications in Pabau 2

In Pabau Classic, your client notifications were created in the Template Archive and set up in Client Notifications.

That meant creating individual templates for every single notification, or at the very least, copying over a template through the source code and editing the content.

In Pabau 2, that's been simplified.

Both the Template Archive and Client Notifications still exist in Pabau 2, but a bit different than Pabau Classic.

The Template Archive, now named Templates, is where you can template your most frequently used e-mails/ SMS texts/ letters.

Introducing Templated Notifications

Client Notifications is fairly similar to how it was in Pabau Classic - with one key difference. In Pabau 2, all of your client notifications have a template of their own, that you can easily brand, and alter the functionality of through simple checkboxes. To better understand the difference, let's look at an example:

This is what the e-mail confirmation looks like in Pabau 2. As you can see, it features the option to confirm the appointment, reschedule, cancel the appointment, and complete forms through the confirmation itself. But what if we don't want to allow the client to do some of these things? In that case, we can choose to untick the options included in the template.

Managing E-mail Notifications

Changing how your template behaves is as easy as ticking or unticking a checkbox. These options will vary from template to template, depending on what the template is for and the functionality. 

Branding your template is just as easy, by including the background color, opacity, text color and background color. 

You can either choose from the predefined colours, or, by clicking on the plus icon, use the colour picking, or input the HEX code or RGB code for your brand's colours. We would recommend the latter, 

Adding your social media links is also now easier than ever. 

Select the ones you want to include, and they'll be added to your template, with the link pulled from your business details.

There's even a safety mechanism - you can't add a social media icon if you haven't added the appropriate social media link in your business details!

Managing SMS Notifications

SMS notifications are just as easy to manage. 

You can freely edit the content on the spot, and adding merge tags has been simplified.

Additionally, you can preview the final outcome of the template as you're building it.
