My appointment time is wrong when I try to save to my calendar?

If your clients are complaining that the 'Add to Calendar' is not saving the time correctly it is likely to be an issue with the date and time on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

If you see the wrong date, time or time zone, or have trouble automatically switching to daylight savings time on your iOS device, learn what to do.

Follow these steps, testing after each step:

  1. Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS.

  2. Turn on Set Automatically in Settings > General > Date&Time. This will automatically set your date and time based on your time zone.

  3. Make sure that your time zone is set correctly. Tap Settings > General > Date&Time > Time Zone.

If you still have issues setting your date, time, or time zone, you can turn off Set Automatically in Settings > General > Date&Time and manually set the time and time zone. Or contact your carrier.

The option to turn on Set Automatically might not be available with all carriers or in all countries.

If the time on your iOS device is wrong after you sync it with your computer, your computer's time might be wrong. Check the time on your computer in System Preferences > Date&Time. You might want to select 'Set date and time automatically'.
