How to set up Medical Conditions in Client Card

In this article we will look at how you can add Medical Conditions in a client's card

First, you need to make sure that you have a list of Medical Conditions in the system to choose from.
You can check this by going to Setup > Data > Medical Conditions.



There you can see all of the Medical Conditions available in the system and you can also add new ones if you need to.




Note: The star next to the name of the Medical Condition will indicate if it's a common allergy or not.


You select that when you create a new Medical Condition.

How to add Medical Conditions to a medical form

Once you have made sure that you have all the Medical Conditions you need, you need to add them to a medical form.

Most often, the patients fill out the Medical History Questionnaire or a specific Consent form.
You can add the Medical Conditions field in one of these forms so that the patients can fill in if they have some of them.

You can do this by going to Setup > Data > Medical Forms, find the form you wish to edit and click on the 'Edit' option.



In the medical form editor, you need to add the Medical Conditions field and give it a Label (a title for the question).

Once you have done so, you can save the form.

Now, the next time a patient comes in the clinic for an appointment, once they have filled in this form and selected a Medical Condition, they will be saved in their client card on the upper-right corner.
