Authorized Devices

You can add a security layer to your Pabau account by using Authorized Devices. An admin user will need to approve a device before it gains access to Pabau. 

To use the Authorized Devices feature

1. Click on 'Setup'. 

2. Choose 'Business'. 

3. Next, choose 'Business Details'. 

4. Click on 'Security', then 'Enable Authorized Devices', set a 4 digit code in the 'Admin Authorization Code' field and click 'Update' on bottom of the page.

5. When a non-admin user tries to login from a new device, they will see the following message:

6. Non-admins will have to speak to an admin to obtain the 4 digit 'Admin Authorization Code' and type it into the 'Input your authorization code' before clicking on 'Continue' to login to Pabau. 

To disable the Authorized Devices feature

You can disable authorized devices at any time by going to Setup --> Business --> Business Details --> Security --> Disable Authorized Devices.

We recommend all users enable Authorized Devices on their accounts.
