The Calls Tab: Your Clinic's Call Log in Engage

The Calls tab in the conversation list is your clinic’s call log — every incoming, outgoing and missed call in one place. This article shows you how to read it.

Opening the Calls Tab

At the top of the conversation list, switch from Chats to Calls. The badge on the tab counts new missed calls, so you can see at a glance whether anything needs a call back.

The Calls tab in Engage listing calls with outcomes: AI answered incoming calls, a missed call, voicemail and outgoing calls with durations.

Reading Each Row

Every row shows the caller, when the call happened, and what happened:

  • Incoming call · 1m 22s — answered live, with the duration.
  • Incoming call · AI answered · 50s — your AI receptionist took the call.
  • Missed call — nobody (and no AI) picked up; shown in red.
  • Voicemail · 16s — the caller left a message.
  • Outgoing call · 4m 5s — a call your team made.

Open a Call for Details

Click a row to see the call inside its conversation — the recording player, the outcome and, for AI-answered calls, the full transcript. See our Call Recordings, Transcripts, Outcomes and Notes in Engage article.

TIP: The answer rate and what happened to unanswered rings are charted in Reports → Voice — see our Engage Reports article.
