Insurance pricing

What insurance billing costs with Pabau - and what you pay Claim.MD directly.

Insurance billing in Pabau is designed to be simple on the pricing front too: Pabau doesn't charge per claim. The insurance billing features are included with your Pabau subscription, and you connect your own Claim.MD clearinghouse account for electronic submission.

What's included with Pabau

Every part of the insurance billing workflow inside Pabau comes with your subscription — with no per-claim, per-check, or per-report charges from Pabau:

  • The Insurance claims dashboard with unlimited claims, validation, and six-status tracking (Draft → Ready to submit → Submitted → Paid / Rejected / Denied).
  • CMS-1500 claim creation and electronic submission through Claim.MD.
  • Eligibility & benefits reports, including the report history on each client.
  • ERA posting — pulling electronic remittance advice into Money → Payment remittance and settling claims.
  • Secondary claims, corrections, voids and appeals.
  • CMS-1500 printing and superbill downloads for paper filing and out-of-network clients.
What you pay Claim.MD

Pabau submits your claims through your own Claim.MD account — you connect it once in Setup → Claims → Claim.MD using your AccountKey. That means your clearinghouse relationship (and its billing) stays directly between your practice and Claim.MD:

  • Claim.MD bills you under its own plans — see Claim.MD's pricing page for current rates.
  • Fixing and resubmitting a rejected claim updates your original claim in Pabau rather than creating a brand-new one.
  • A small number of optional Claim.MD services carry their own fees — for example, appeals sent by fax or mail. Any such fee is disclosed by Claim.MD on the form before you submit.
