A Family membership allows several people to be covered under a single plan, with one payment and shared perks. This is useful for clinics offering household or family wellness plans, where everyone on the plan stays connected to the clinic under a single subscription.
NOTE: The membership feature will be usable only when the Stripe integration is active.
Step 1: Navigate to Setup
Start by logging in to your Pabau account using your login credentials. Then, navigate to the Setup page and find Memberships under the Catalogue section.
Step 2: Create a Membership
Once you're on the Memberships page, click the "Create Membership" button to get started.
Step 3: Insert Details
In the Basics step, add the membership name and description. A live preview of the membership card will appear on the right as you fill in the details.
Step 4: Set the Membership Type to Family
Under Membership Type, select Family - shared across multiple members.
Once selected, a Minimum members field will appear. Use the dropdown to define how many family members must be included on the plan (e.g. 4 members).
The preview card on the right will update to show a Family · 4+ badge, indicating the membership covers multiple people.
Step 5: Add Perks
Scroll down to the Membership Perks section and add the perks clients should receive, such as services, discounts, or credits. These perks are shared across the family group on the plan.
NOTE: Credits added to a Family membership can be shared between members. If one family member doesn't use their allocated credit in time, another member on the same plan can use it instead, helping ensure no perk goes to waste.
Continue through the remaining steps (Payments and Appearance) as you would for any other membership to finish setting it up.
